Thank you for providing me with two weekends of awesome music! I saw the Philly show, and the Maryland show, and you guys are excellent! I'm not real good at describing how I felt while you guys ( and girl ) played but your set made me feel like you were taking me on a long journey. That's the best way I can describe how I felt. No drugs or alcohol involved, the hairs on my neck would stand about twice evry song. Totally beautiful music. I had almost begun to kneel at the Boy band alter, thinking that music was forever lost. I thank you again. p.s. The next time you are in philly let me know. I work for a nightlife and entertainment guide to Philadelphia called Maneo.com. I can promote the shit out of you, as well as show you a good time out on the town. Good luck on the rest of the tour! - Joe
Hey guys! I dont know if you'll read this yourselves but I just wanna thank you for my guitar! I won it in the competition! I thought it was funny what Maynard wrote on about accounting courses! And I also thought it was well cool how Danny Lohner signed it! That was amazing! Members from my 3 favourite bands signitures (A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails and Tool) all on the same guitar! And no Maynard...I aint selling it like you said, hehe! I've tuned it, played a little but now it is in a perspex case on my wall where everyone can see it...but nobody can touch it...haha!! Love you guys! Best of luck with stuff!

At the end of this barren road we find a rock band that isn't afraid to express themselves freely. A band that does not submit to the stagnation that post-grunge hard rock has become. Bands, from Limp Bizkit to Kid Rock pollute the airways with intellectually inept and stupid songs. Blatantly they get away with it because these ridiculous songs have slithered their way up to the mainstream mantle.
Salvation comes in the form of A Perfect Circle. Led by the undaunting Maynard James Keenan A.P.C delivers the first good album that I've listened to since Tool's 1996 release - Aenima.
A Perfect Circle's music abounds with passion. Tracks such as 3-Libras, Brena and Orestes clearly illustrate this point. These songs make you want to fall to your knees in awe while clinging to your stereo.
The first single Judith expresses Keenan's view of religion, a subject he has always dealt with since Tool's 1992 E.P - Opiate. This single along with 'The Hollow' highlight the band's ability to pick up the tempo with grace, yet rendering the songs powerful and fulfilling.
Maynard streams forth with endless passion while Billy is an excellent guitarist and seems at one with his Les Paul. The same can be said about Troy. Paz brings stability to the quartet, her versatility with the violins in unsurpassed, especially in 'Rose' and '3-Libras'. Josh drums with vigor yet knows when not to get overboard and keeping the songs in check.
Buying 'Mer de Noms' has certainly been rewarding and I certainly am looking forward to a follow up when Maynard finishes up Tool's forthcoming record. The two bands complement each other, one not being better than the other, simply different.
The only downside to 'Mer de Noms' was that it was only 44 minutes long. - Andrew Motilal
Your music intoxicates me like an ex girlfriend of mine once did.You people have destroyed my anxiety and stress.Anytime I feel angry,I just listen to Thomas.I love you all.Keep the shit real....

Maynard James Keenan has, to put it bluntly, an angelic voice. Strong and driving, yet vulnerable and lonely. It has both female and male aspects. Reaching into the soul and making those who truly hear it think of those things that lurk in the corner and fly amoung the clouds. Troy, Billy, Josh and Paz fill out the circle perfectly, both in recording and live.
Now that I've seen them live (in Edmonton AB) I can honestly say that they are a band above other bands, both sonically and artistically. Please come back to Canada, and Alberta someday. I'll be there. Thank you. - Aaron
