The first time I heard this band, I was like "oh great another shitt band" but toward the end of Judith, I heard somthing that reminded me of something that is held so deep in my heart. That was the sounds of Alternative Rock. This band is a bit harder then that, but holds many many elements of the music I love. The truth is, no one makes music that sounds like thiers, or not many do. They wont be huge with the public, yet in another 5-6 years, when rock music has a major revolution, A Perfect Circle will be a major band if not the premier band that influenced the new rock sound. They will be this generations Pixies, a great band that no one listened to but those who make music. I'd like to thank the band for giving me back something that music has mainly lacked, with the exception of a few bands still around from the alternative rock days.   - jason

I would have to say the Atlanta show on August 23rd was by far the most umbelievable and moving experience of my life. Maynard's grace so moving and his voice that of an angel. Billy and Troy's performance, simply astounding, such perfection. Paz's sexy and exotic movements like that of a sacred dance. And last but not least Josh's performance, simply amazing, every beat leading the way. These guys are the perfection of music, the perfect circle. And I thank them for being such an inspiration.   - Josh Reynolds

Thank you for such inspirational music. I especially like Magdalena and 3 Libras. I can really relate to the music. It seems as if the songs were writeen directly for me in this troubling time of my life. I have just broke up with my girlfriend, who meant a lot to me. They always say you don't know what you have until you lose it, but I find that to be very untrue. I always knew what I had. I will always love her, and your music has become to help me come to terms with everything. Billy, you are a true artist in this very commercial industry. I have read other message boards for other artists, and you should take pride in knowing that yours is the only one that it seems like your fans actually take heed to your messaage. It seems as if all of them are "so and so rocks, and so and so is horrible". But yours is so much more than that. I think you are truely inspirational to a very large audience. Keep going with what your doing, its working, and thank you.   - Kevin

Yes, I have truly touched the face of God. I am moved, enlightened, spiritually transposed to yet another realm of euphoria, I... Damn! I've just spoiled my short... again. Gotta go now.   - Mary McWatters

I have always been a very big Nine Inch Nails fan as well as a big Tool fan, so when I heard that Howerdel and Maynard's new project was coming to town with Nine Inch Nails, I had to go. I was elated to listen to your act. It was so different from Tool and had a wonderful contemplative feel that made my mind wonder not over any subject matter, but merely on a psychological journey into sound. I have never heard anything like it and I can't stop listening to the album. In the middle of the concert, you spoke to the audience and said that we should go out and focus on that music which was truly art and also stated that right now the bad music was winning and you are so right. In a world of crap like Korn and Korn wannabees and whiny useless anger rap metal like Limp Bizkit and white trash no talents like Kid Rock, you bring us into what I hope will be a new era of bands who play because they love it and they know what they really need to convey uncontrollably to the world.  [read full review]   - Alexander De Marco

I've been listening to the Perfect Cirlcle cd since I got it. I actually bought it for my boyfriend and decided since I like the song Judith to listen to the rest, which I planned on doing anyways, and I love the cd. Every song has it's own feeling, and none of them are alike. To me, the sound of Maynard's voice is absolutely wonderful, and being accompanied with the music, it's almost haunting. The cd is great, and hopefully you guys will put out another album soon. If I had to choose a favorite song, It would have to be Magdalena, but I love every single one of the songs on this cd. 3 Libras makes me cry. There is just something about the message in it that sends chills down my spine. I just cannot get over how beautifully haunting your music is. I was hoping to be able to see your show in Chicago tomorrow, the 28th, but I have school the next day, and I know that I just wouldn't want to leave. Hopefully I'll be able to see one of your shows soon.  [read full review]   - Cate Smith

Man, I could've sworn i posted a review, but i guess not. I probably just e-mailed you guys saying you rock or something intelligent to that effect. I may have thrown in "big" words like: exquisite, masterpiece, yay, perfection, and cool, to describe the album. So yeah. Anyway, yes, Mer De Noms is one of my reasons for living and I want to have APC's children. Even Paz's but I don't know how that'll work out. I'll see you all Saturday night (Aug. 26 Agora). 3 Libra's is my theme song, but you'll definatly see me there. Yay! Oh, you all rocked at the NIN show too. I love you, seriously. Yay.   - Paula

wurd guys, totally thumbs up!i recently catched the gig at the Nation, and since i'm only 15, had to go w/ my mom. i have to say that Maynard may be the coolest, most inspirational cat ever. even my mom liked the show. but then i told her Maynard was gettin married, and she was like "how are they gonna tell who's the women?" so i told her that i'd rather her had married Maynard than my dad. She was really pissed. lots 'o luv to APC. later   - Graham

Three Libras is so sad that I cry when I hear it..(not really but I feel like it). Judith kicks my ass and so does the Hollow. Orestes cuts through me like a dentist drill I have only recently acquired Mer de Noms after I was lucky enough to experience you guys live at Summersault 2000. I must compliment the musicianship and lyrical content to the utmost I swear to you that my ass was kicked with Judith and then I got hooked. I urinated several times... Thats all I have to say. Three Libras is my song of choice for the moment   - Andrew Comstock
