I cried for the first time in 12 years when I heard Brena. Thank you.   - John

A Perfect Circle is probably the most original band in music today! I love every one of their songs on Mer de Noms. I can listen to that cd over and over (I am listening to it right now). I hope that the band continues to write incredible music and come back to Philly.   - BRAd

I know that I will get flack for what I am about to say, but in the spirit of things to come....who cares. I attended The Perfect Circle concert at the Agora theatre in Cleveland on Aug. 26th. This was my second time seeing APC, the first time I saw them was when NIN opened their tour in Cleveland in April, and APC opened. Truthfully I had seen NIN prior, and was at that concert soley to see Howerdel's band, and of course Maynard. I was floored by how great the band was, and really excited about the forthcoming album- which is the best album released this year, as well as some of the best musical writing in years. So of course when I found out that APC was returning to Cleveland I was thrilled. I was one of the lucky few to get a ticket, and waited patiently in line to get a good view of the band (genearl admin). Well we ended up right against the fence, dead center...now I need to diverge by saying I've attended many concerts.  [read full review]   - Francesca

With the thirty or so reviews I have just read, I would have to agree. Like a breath of fresh air is this cd, hands down it is one of the greatest and most original takes on sound I have ever heard. Please record another masterpiece for this stale world of music that we live in.   - drew collison

A Perfect Circle is one the most incredible bands I have ever had the pleasure of listening too. From Maynard's awesome vocal talents to Billy's supreme talent as a guitarist. Tears begin to come to my EYES every time I listen to the CD. I am so lucky to be able to enjoy this opening of incredible talent. I was able to see the show with NIN in Raleigh and to say the least I was left speechless. A Perfect Circle I thank you for your talent and choosing to display it the way you do.   - Jordan Thomspon

one word....too many meanings...for just one word.....poetry...perfect....ok those were too many words.   - Julio I. Caicedo S.

Dear APC, After reading some of the other reviews on this site I have come to realize something..... I guess I am not the only one who suffers from shivers when I hear your music play. Thank you very much for sharing your unique and talented musical artistry with us. Your mythological lyrics and instrumentals are not only amazingly beautiful and moving, but they are also such a refreshing change from the current “popular” music selections that saturate the radio stations. Your show at the Gorge was breathtaking and I am anxious to see you again at the Paramount on Monday. I haven't been this excited to go to a show since 1993. It seems to me that each one you is a perfect gem! Take care, McKenzie   - McKenzie

APC blew me away first time i ever saw them live heading for Reznor & co. and now touring the OLP based tour with some of my favourite Canadian bands continues to mezmerize me. The Album is so phenominal and "Three Libras" obviously going to hit big like "Judith" I'm not sure how the music industry works but i think "Orestes" "Thinking of You" and "Brena" my personal fave serve as well defined singles as well.... the album just continues to amaze me the more i listen to it and guys, keep up the good work!   - APC#1Fan (Maynard Is GOD)

From the moment I heard 'Judith' on the radio, I was transfixed. Then I ran out and bought your album - and I just can't get enough of it. It's like a fix I need on a continual basis. When I'm not listening to it, it's still playing in my head. It's incredibly haunting, dark, sexy and overall - kicks ass! Every single song digs into my skin, and the lyrics are brilliant, utterly brilliant. I love it! I wish you guys the best of success, because you deserve it!! -Shanna   - Shanna Bauman

I flew down from Indianapolis for the show at The Sanctuary in Atlanta on August 23rd. Leaving out of Indy, I had a layover in Raleigh, NC. From there, it was on to Atlanta. So, after much ado, the Raleigh flight was ready to go. I get to my seat (totally decked out for the concert with my "6 2/3" shirt and leather pants, I might add) and wait for take-off. As the last few passengers get on, I notice one that looks eerily familiar. But before I can even entertain the thought, I am stuck with the notion that I am currently sitting on a 70-minute commuter flight on a plane with less than 50 seats. "No way," I think. "Can't be him." So, as he takes a seat directly behind me in 12C - the last row on the plane - I return to my reading. I notice his clothes during the flight - light black leather jacket over a dark T-shirt and jeans - but make little effort to ascertain whether or not it is whom I think it is. I keep coming back to the flight.  [read full review]   - Nathan Wenger
