At the end of this barren road we find a rock band that isn't afraid to express themselves freely. A band that does not submit to the stagnation that post-grunge hard rock has become. Bands, from Limp Bizkit to Kid Rock pollute the airways with intellectually inept and stupid songs. Blatantly they get away with it because these ridiculous songs have slithered their way up to the mainstream mantle. Salvation comes in the form of A Perfect Circle. Led by the undaunting Maynard James Keenan A.P.C delivers the first good album that I've listened to since Tool's 1996 release - Aenima. A Perfect Circle's music abounds with passion. Tracks such as 3-Libras, Brena and Orestes clearly illustrate this point. These songs make you want to fall to your knees in awe while clinging to your stereo. The first single Judith expresses Keenan's view of religion, a subject he has always dealt with since Tool's 1992 E.P - Opiate.  [read full review]   - Andrew Motilal

Your music is unbelieveable it makes me feel as if i've fallen into a state of endless pleasure. I wish the music would never end but all good things must eventually come to a stop until they are liberated again. I will be waiting among the rest of us for your sounds of bliss...   - Mitch

from: aperfectcircle.org tour section. (Check out our site, aperfectcircle.org and my Discography under the Media Section) Perfection is Possible. I arrived at the Hartford Civic Center at about 7 P.M. which was good because it gave me time to pick up my Passes and extra Tickets… at about 7:30 or so my friend and I walked into the arena… immediately I saw that it was going to be a relatively small show, which I didn’t mind… I had Floor tickets, which was cool but I’m small so for me it wasn’t the greatest, but I still enjoyed the show unbelievably . Well, we were all forced to sit down until about 8 okay, when the lights dimmed and the soothing eerie music of Renholder come on… we all awaited the band to make there appearance, and they got a surprising overwhelming welcome, which I thought was very cool. Maynard was wearing a funky Zebra-type striped blazer with no shirt, his Wig and Jeans, and more noticeable Paz was wearing “Hooters” Shirt, which I thought was funny.  [read full review]   - Chris Bonazzo

I travelled over 900km to see A Perfect Circle and NIN in Vancouver, BC. Unfortunately, security was slow getting the crowds through the door of GM Place. I got to my seat in the middle of APC's second tune. It was tragic really, that I missed the first song as APC's set was so short to begin with. The show was great overall. Maynard spent half of it with his ass hanging out and his back to the audience. The sound quality was so good that there were jokes being made about APC just playing to the CD. I had a cool time and heard a lot of people around me saying how much they liked the band. My biggest complaint about APC's show was that there was no encore, the houselights came on IMMEDIATELY after the set. I was really hoping to hear "Diary of a Madman (Lovesong)". I will go see APC in Edmonton at the Summersault festival and with any luck they will play just as well and longer.   - Jeffrey Cockram

I wet myself when I heard "Judith". I have a large supply of clean underwear ready for when the entire cd comes out. We are grateful for a band whose lyrics so closely mirror our own personal philosophies. They are few and far between and we wish A Perfect Circle much success, by whatever means they define success.   - Lisa & Keith Prescott

I walked 3.5 hours in the record setting heat, just to hear you guys open for NIN... and it was soooo worth it! You guys are true artists, so don't worry about knocking britney and boybands off the charts, just keep creating beautiful songs and everything will fall into place!   - Matt

Thank you for providing me with two weekends of awesome music! I saw the Philly show, and the Maryland show, and you guys are excellent! I'm not real good at describing how I felt while you guys ( and girl ) played but your set made me feel like you were taking me on a long journey. That's the best way I can describe how I felt. No drugs or alcohol involved, the hairs on my neck would stand about twice evry song. Totally beautiful music. I had almost begun to kneel at the Boy band alter, thinking that music was forever lost. I thank you again. p.s. The next time you are in philly let me know. I work for a nightlife and entertainment guide to Philadelphia called Maneo.com. I can promote the shit out of you, as well as show you a good time out on the town. Good luck on the rest of the tour!   - Joe

Only one word is needed to describe A Perfect Circle's music--amazing! From the time I opened the CD, to the time the last track ended, I was completely blown away. I first heard "Judith" on the radio, and I loved the song, so I thought "Hey, I better go get this CD now!" When I got the CD, I first noticed the cool artwork on the cover, then when I got to listen to it, I noticed how beautiful all of the songs were. Whether they were heavy or soft, I liked all of them. I've been a fan of A Perfect Circle for a while now, and I will continue to be. This band is one of my inspirations. See, I love to write, and when I listen to the CD, I can totally get all my thoughts on paper. Or if I'm angry, the music is calming. Or if I just want to listen to some damn good music, I'll pop in the disc. A Perfect Circle is so different, I like it. They seem to not be scared about straying from the popular types of rock music that seem to be floating around the charts today.  [read full review]   - Stephanie Franklin

OH MY!! This is one of those bands, albums, creations that you feel it within. when i first bought mer de noms, I was mezmorized by it, and I still am to this day in fact,I haven't felt this way about any musical talent out there before, though many people have yet to discover you as we have, don't give up, keep doing what you feel, what you want, I just recently moved and I have found myself finally at such a young age too I might add, and you were there for me, your music, your emotions, your hard work, and sacrifice, and for that I have you to thank for, I have begun righting again, and I thought that I never would anymore, I have become more and more grateful for what comes my way, more and more welcome to changes, more and more comfortable with myself, and that has always been hard. I just wanted you to know that I'll be seeing you in Feb 13 in San Antonio, Texas, and I can't wait, it's like finally realizing that there is some-thing out there...  [read full review]   - Bianka Y. Dear Perfect Circle, Your music is pure. Your music is honest. Your music is cyrstal in every sense of the word. It is like a diamond drilling me in the centre of my brain. It is amazing how art and music can give people the inspiration to live, love and see the truth. A job well done. It did it for me. Lieutenant James Heinrich Sagert   - James Sagert
