Having picked up mer de noms this evening, i am stil reeling from it. i can't stop listening, and i hope that i never will. this is exactly what we need in our world right now...i smell the beginning of the end of plastic pop.

You've woven a hypnotic sonic tapestry which is both sultry and tense, and of course, lyrically insightful. (What else could Maynard produce?)
As a playful experiment, I had "The Hollow" playing as background music while conversing with a client in my office. Our discussion stopped abruptly when he asked what station I was listening to, as he really enjoyed the music. I sat bemused as this man in his late forties told me that your music was like "Mozart with guitars". I loaned him my CD. You have gained another fan.

Their music is extremely deep, I cried it was so intense, I have never heard anything so moving in my life.

There's only one word that describes this cd.........perfect. I just bought the cd and already my parents are sick of hearing it, but I can't get enough! There isn't a song on the cd I don't like. They are powerful and moving. Magdalena especially. Keep up the incredible work!

All I can say is wow. Mer De Noms is a beautiful album, from beginning to end. The music is beautifully performed and Maynard's vocals are awe-inspiring. When I hear your music, it just takes me to a whole other place. Out of "reality" and into my mind. Ever since I got the album, it's all I've listened to. I can't go one day without hearing "Orestes". I think it is the most beautiful sogn on the album. It reminds me of my girlfriend; soft and very beautiful. That's not the point. The point is, I am glad there are still people making beautiful music like this in a world full of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Keep up the good work. Bye.

this has got to be one of the best albums i've heard in a long time. the songs just won't get out of my head. the melodies and vocals just stay with you and it's impossible to try and escape them. incredible album.

i cannot possibly put in to words how beautiful and insanely awesome the music on this album is. its like my new drug and it is all i can listen to. you all are amazing and i will never be able to figure out how you can put music together so beautifully. maynard, i can never get enough of your enchanting voice, whether it be with tool, a perfect circle or the track on the new deftones album.thank you all for giving me something to listen to that i can feel.

holy shit, this cd is REALLY good. The words just fit in with the music perfectly. I love it. Great work, I just hope eventually there will be another. its almost orgasmic. I love it.
